Richard Dale Wiles, of Fremont, CA, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the age of 79. He was born in Morgantown, WV to Lawrence and Anabelle Wiles on August 1, 1946. He moved to Fremont in December of 2021 with his wife, Sue Cox.

Richard grew up in Morgantown, WV as part of a large family of six siblings, three boys and three girls. Richard is survived by his wife, Sue Cox, and sister, Margaret Anne Walden. He was preceded in death by his companion of many years, Marge Pollock, his parents, Lawrence and Anabella Wiles, his brothers, William Frank Wiles and his wife Malise (Pixie), and Robert Lawrence Wiles and his wife Nancy, and his sisters, Betty Jane Province and her husband Charles (Buck), and Priscilla Alice Walden.
