I love you

A true gentleman and man with a heart of gold. We met at the Fremont Hub in 1964. Heard a voice pop out from nowhere amongst a circle of friends who called themselves The Baby Blues. It was you walking towards me in the parking lot calling my name. The dim light put a glow overhead that followed your every step. I'll never forget that night I first saw you, and we've stayed in touch over the past 58 years. Whether I was east, west, north or south, you always said we were meant to be connected, even if it was just through the wires. The phone rang one day, hard to believe 10 years had passed since we last saw each other or talked on the phone. And now 10 years later, you're gone. Love you Jim, forever and a day, miss you so much it hurts beyond words. Truly blessed to have been a part of your life, many folks would agree. There's a light that shines bright in Heaven tonight. With the passing of Jim Peerless, I lost a dear friend and confidant. The world lost a man who has made significant contributions. While working and Centerville Jr. High, a student told him she was planning suicide. Jim counseled her, and arranged professional counseling, saving her life. Jim followed through and established a suicide hot line for students. Jim entered electronics training while serving in the Navy. When the targeting system aboard ship of a new missile launching installation failed to work properly, Jim redesigned the system and solved the problem. Jim was a gentle giant who cared for people, and helped many of the disenfranchised near his home with part time work at his house, or cash contributions. His intelligence level was off-the-scale. He had almost total recall, and I personally relied upon him for answers to problems I had. Jim was like an uncle to my children, and like a brother to me. Jim, I miss you. But I know our loss is Heavens gain. Heaven is now enrichened by your presence.
