Obituary For Richard Joseph Dyer
Entered into rest on January 13, 2013 in Fremont, CA at the age of 92. Beloved father of Cathy Kennedy of Fremont, and Richard Dyer, Jr. of Berkeley. Treasured grandfather of Mark Kennedy of Fremont, and Rebekah Dyer of Berkeley. Dear brother of Helen Cravatta, Marie Poldoian, Catherine Hill, and Patricia Kass. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Peggy Murphy, Daniel Dyer, Jr., and William Dyer.
Born September 12, 1920 in Salem, MA, Richard lovingly took great care of his wife Phyllis who passed away in 2007. He was in the Army Air Corps in World War II and was a medic in the North Africa, Sicily, and Italy campaigns.
A private family inurnment will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park in Hayward, CA.

Sorry for your loss, Uncle Richard was certainly a kind sole. I remember driving up from San Diego to visit with my mother and father, Pat and Don Kass. As I reflect it was 20 years ago. We had a nice visit and weal went out to dinner.
