Robert Allen Tyler was born on July 11, 1937 in Westwood, CA and entered into rest on November 2, 2018 in Mountain View, at the age of 81. Loving father to: Lois Hill, Dorothy Bowlin, Robert Tyler, and Mark Tyler, cherished grandfather to 5, caring brother to: Ellen Lane, Joanie Penburg, Tom Tyler and Joe Tyler.
He was born and raised in CA and a longtime GM employee.

I remember every Sunday, Bob would ride his motorcycle to Dorothy's and Lois' for that Sunday Paper and a cup of coffee! The photo he kept in his wallet of his first car, he was so proud of it! The speakers he put in my VW he asked for Guiness Stout Beer... Shouting "Marshmallows!" at the Dodger's Game.... Much Love Bob, thanks for the great memories. Joyce

My father, Robert Tyler, was a complicated man. He was passionate about all things. He loved fishing, Westwood, family. He especially loved his brothers and sisters. He loved music. I have a memory of my parents dancing in the kitchen to big band music. During his 12yr struggle with Alzheimer's, we found each other again. He told me stories of long ago and would even sing a song to me, that had been my parent's "song". Now he is at peace, and so am I.
