Robert Daniel Ramirez, 49, passed away on June 6th, 2025.

Born on May 14th, 1976, in Fremont, California, Robert, known to many as Rob Mann, grew up in Newark, California, in his childhood home, alongside his aunts and uncle. He attended Newark Memorial High School, where he enjoyed playing baseball.

Robert dedicated 20 years to his career as a pest control and wildlife removal specialist and supervisor. His love for animals was profound, extending beyond his professional work. He was known for his compassionate heart, often undertaking side projects where he built meaningful relationships through his genuine care for animals. A notable act of kindness was when he took in a raccoon, whom he named Solita, rehabilitating and caring for her out of pure generosity.

Outside of work, Robert found joy in spending time with his family, attending concerts, going to sporting events, and traveling to explore new places. He was also an active and dedicated member of Alcoholics Anonymous, where he was always of service, helping others on their journey.

Robert will be remembered for his resilience, humor, and disciplined approach to life. He walked in faith, demonstrating a profound commitment to sobriety. His loved ones will always cherish his unwavering belief in family first, his determination to turn his life around, his hard work, and his dedication to being a productive member of his community.

He is survived by his loving mother, Laura Morgan, proud grandfather Joe Martinez and his cherished son, Robert Ramirez.

Robert was predeceased by his father, Julian Ramirez, grandmother Betty Ramirez, and his grandmother, Elia Martinez.

A funeral service to honor Robert's life will be held on Friday, June 20th, 10AM at Primera Iglesia Bautista in Union City.
