Obituary For Rolland Albert Eaton

Born June 27, 1924 in Highland Park, MI, and entered into rest on June 19, 2014 in Fremont, CA, at the age of 89. Survived by his children: Thomas Eaton of Stockton, James Eaton (Bebot) of Austin, MN, and Dr. Judith Eaton of Fremont; grandson: Thomas Eaton of Arlington, VA; step-brother: Rich Larsen; nieces: Alison and Pam; and sister-in-law: Sally.

Rolland enjoyed working at Lockheed as a tool and dye maker. He served in WWII as a Navy Seabee. He served as deacon, elder, and groundskeeper for Fremont Congregational Church and First Christian Church. He also helped out with the John F. Kennedy Marching Band. He was an avid Giants, 49ers, and hockey fan. He was well-liked by everyone.

Private family services will be held. He will be laid to rest at Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont, CA. Donations may be made in memory of Rolland to the Humane Society of your choice or to Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
