Ronald Holtman Jr. passed away peacefully in sleep on Friday May 27, 2022 at his home in Fremont, CA. He was man of profound intellect, curiosity, kindness, and strong religious beliefs. He bravely endured mental health challenges throughout his life. His intellect was prominently displayed in having several letters to newspapers published ranging from topics such as his opposition to the Iraq War to the homelessness crisis. Conversations with Ron would oftentimes span a wide range of topics in which he was always willing to share his opinion or thoughts. During this life, Ron frequently volunteered to help less fortunate people as he saw this as his duty being a faithful servant to God. Ron was a devoted student of the bible and was eager to share his understanding of God’s wisdom. Despite the health challenges he faced, he successfully held employment as a security officer, long haul truck driver, substitute teacher, and teaching aide. In his younger years, he had great fun beating video games and going on long adventurous bike rides. In his later years, he found enjoyment challenging his mind by playing chess and soduku. It is our dearest hope that he is at peace and has had his questions answered on what might exist beyond this physical life on Earth. Ronald Jr. is preceded in death by his father Ronald Sr. and his mother Nora. He is survived by his sister Nora Virginia (Frank), brother Albert (Jennifer), and brother Steve (Jeanette).
