Obituary For Rosemary Ann Pauley

Rosemary Ann Pauley entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 14, 2017. She was 93. A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Rosemary was born to Clifford and Annamary (Simkavitz) Ritchee on December 21 1923. On July 31 1953 she married Phillip Pauley of Powersville Missouri at the court house in San Diego, Ca. In 1955 they returned to Cedar Rapids and in 1960 returned to California. Rosemary was proceeded in death by her husband Phillip in 1979. She is survived by 7 children, Ann Parks (David), Susan Bentley (David), Gregory Pauley, Diana Stover (Dennis), Debbri Kawlewski (Terry), Thomas Pauley (Jackie), Phyllis Rucker (Jeff). 23 Grandchildren, 40 Great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She worked as a waitress for 40 years. Working at WTGrants on Newark Blvd. and Lyons restaurants in Hayward and Fremont Ca. There will be graveside services in Cedar Rapids Iowa at a later date.

MAY 1990. Took Melinda to meet Grandma Doe in Iowa. 4 generations. Mom, Grandma Doe, Melinda and me. Grandma lived at a assisted living facility. Those 2 weeks they had a baby farm zoo and of course a clown. Melinda was so happy with the animals, petting, feeding them with Mom. All of a sudden the clown came up to fast to Melinda, she ran right BETWEEN mom's legs and then stayed behind her. Mom had to take the balloon from the clown but Melinda wanted no part of it as you can tell from the picture.. Took mom's hand to lead her back to Grandma Doe and myself.

May 1990. 4 generations. Mom, Grandma Doe, Melinda and me. Went to visit mom and grandma for Mother's Day. Grandma Doe met her great Granddaughter Melinda. They had an animal farm where grandma was living and mom would help Melinda feed the baby animals. We had alot of fun for 2 weeks. Laughed so hard because Melinda would run between mom's legs when the animals got close.
