Obituary For Roy Thomas Marciel
Roy Maciel entered into eternal rest at his home in Fremont, CA, November 3, 2017, he was 84. A U.S. Army Korean war veteran, Roy worked for 30 years as a mechanic for National Can Corp. in San Leandro. An avid Oakland Raider Fan, Roy also found himself at 19 of Elvis Presley’s performances or with his grandson James at the Good Guys car shows with his 1959 red Cadillac convertible. The youngest of 8 children, Roy lived happily with his wife Elaine until her passing in 2008 and is survived by daughter Nena Backes (David), grandson, James Freitas (Denica) and family.
