Obituary For Ruben Tony Godinez
Born January 24, 1948 in Hayward, CA and entered into rest on April 2, 2013 in Oakland, CA at the age of 65. Devoted husband of 24 years to Margarita Godinez. Beloved father of Ruben Godinez and his wife Letty, Robert Godinez and his wife Charlotte, Jesse Godinez, Felix Nevarez, George Ferreira, Anita Garcia, and Estela Valdez and her husband Carlos. Grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of 2. Treasured brother of Peter Godinez and his wife Gloria, Rudy Godinez, Johnny Godinez, Robert Godinez, Mary Parnala and her husband Donald, Racheal Freitas and her husband Walter, and Amelia Stanley and her husband Colin. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held for Ruben on Saturday, April 13, 11am at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.
