Obituary For Sandra "Sandy" Chetty
Born and raised in Seaman, Ohio. Sandy moved to California in 1969. She was a Social Worker in San Mateo County for 25 years. Sandy was preceded in death by her husband Jayadev Chetty and her parents Robert and Maxine Satterfield. She is survived by aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Sandy was actively involved in Centerville Presbyterian Church. She loved doing Bible Studies and being involved in a book club. Sandy was Treasurer of Ohlone Humane Society for many years and enjoyed time spent with Red Hatter friends.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Centerville Presbyterian Church, 4360 Central Ave, Fremont.

I knew Sandy for close to 40 years. She was the dearest, friend to both humans and animals. I first met her when I owned the Elegant Critters dog grooming shop, in Newark, California. We shared a love for animals and she got me active in the shelter. Her passion for plays and cooking were enjoyed over the years. She was a beautiful person. May the angels in heaven be rejoicing at her home coming. Linda Augustin Medford, Oregon
