Obituary For Shirley Mae Abraham
Shirley Mae Abraham, loving Mom, Grandma, Nana and Great-Grandma, from Fremont passed away peacefully at home shortly after midnight on September 28, 2017 at the age of 88.
She was born in Oakland California on September 2, 1929 to Walter and Goldie (Lawry) LeRoy and married her High School sweetheart John (Jack) Abraham on May 18, 1951. Shirley, along with her husband, actively participated and supported the Shrine, Masonic and youth organizations for many years. She loved gardening, scrap-booking, ceramics, sewing and cooking. She is famously known for her delicious homemade pies, which we all will miss. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John Abraham Sr. and son Daryl Wilkins. She is survived by her loving children, John Abraham Jr. and wife Brenda of Patterson, Ricky Abraham Sr. of Grass Valley and Susan (Abraham) Ingebretsen of Pleasanton; grandchildren, Steven Wilkins, Becky Anderson, Michael Abraham, Ricky Abraham Jr., Lindsay Abraham, David Ingebretsen, Brian Ingebretsen and 11 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 am, Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd. Fremont CA. 94536.
Shirley touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

The sweetest lady from my days in bethel 253. I will always remember the kidnap breakfasts and othe fun things we did. Such a kind soul. Rest in peace Mrs. Abraham. :hearts:

"Shirley wants a shot" ... phrase happily cheered by family and friends during last Thanksgiving when Mark Betz was pouring shots of Apple pie moonshine! Fun times with my amazing mom!
