Obituary For Shirley Marget Ballstadt

Entered into rest on May 22, 2012 in Fremont at the age of 76. Devoted wife of 55 years to George. Beloved mother of Chris. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Kaylee, and Kaitlynn. Great-grandmother of newborn Max. Treasured sister of Linda. Dear aunt of Robin, Natalie, Grace, and Joseph Jr. Also survived by grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and her little dog Taffy.

Born July 27, 1935 in Ontario, Canada, Shirley was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. For many years she was the office manager for Ballstadt Masonry, the family construction company. In her youth she enjoyed ice skating, dancing, fishing and later in life card games and shows at casinos in Nevada. She loved caring for her family.

A memorial service will be held for Shirley on Sunday, May 27, 2pm at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 38451 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.
