Obituary For Stanley K. Chapman

Stan Chapman, a loving husband, father, stellar human being, and friend to all, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, at the age of 79. He leaves behind a legacy of deep connection, steadfast friendship, and unwavering love for his family.

Born on April 4, 1946, Stan grew up in Wenatchee, Washington, where he spent his youth before making a life-changing decision at the age of 17: joining the U.S. Navy. His eight years of service included cruising around the world during the Vietnam war, an experience that forged deep, lifelong bonds. He treasured the long-lasting friendships made during his time in the Navy, many of whom he continued to chat with over the phone right up until his passing.

Stan possessed a rare and beautiful gift: the capability to connect with anyone. Whether he was sharing a story or simply lending an ear, his genuine warmth and interest made everyone he met feel seen and valued. Everyone loved Stan; he truly was a friend to all.

He was a wonderful and loving husband, a dedicated father, a cherished father-in-law, and a remarkable friend. His family was the center of his life, and his memory will be a guiding light for them.

Stan will be surely missed and will remain in the thoughts of his loved ones every single day
