I grew up living next to Stan. I remember one time I called my Dad ( Don Danner) for car repair advise. He asked me...is Stan home? ( He was). Dad then told me to put a cap on backwards and go lift the hood of the car...Stan will be right there.....I did that and not 3 minutes later there was Stan right at my shoulder asking what was going on. don't remember what was wrong but he did fix it. called dad later an told him..it worked! we always got a good chuckle out of that. but that's the kind of neighbor Stan was always there to give a helping hand. right now I am chuckling thinking of when stan decided to rebuild the motor on a car for the 1st time. he was a great neighbor to my Mom Ramona for nearly 40 years.
