Obituary For Stanley Richard Comstock
Entered into rest on October 24, 2012 in Fremont, CA at the age of 85, peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 64 years to Barbara Comstock. Devoted father to Rhonda Muela (Robert), Jeffery Comstock (Robin). Loving grandfather to Erin Sawatsky (Adam), Samuel Muela and Michael Muela. Predeceased by his son Steven Comstock.
Born July 30, 1927 in Fullerton, CA, Stanley was a WWII Veteran.
An avid sportsman and gifted athlete, playing many sports with notable achievements in college football, racing cars, bowling and baseball. His special passion was playing golf and coaching Pop Warner football in Pinole. He was the president of East Bay Fast Freight in Newark, CA.
A Military Honors Service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 11:30am at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA.
