Suzanne Carmen Peter passed away on March 21, 2013 at the age of 89 in Fremont. She was the loving mother of Roy Harold Peter and his wife Rebecca Lynn. Cherished grandmother to Nicholas Charles Peter, Christina Renee Peter & Veronica Cheri Peter. Beloved sister to Berthe dite Lilette Peray, Jacqueline Peray & Roland Peray. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Suzanne is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Albert Peter in 2000, her daughter, Tina Marguerite Peter, her brother, Benjamin Peray and her sisters, Marguerite dite Maguy Enzler, Marcelle Duperret & Fanchette Helene Peray.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 25th from 10am-12pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, 94536. A graveside service will follow at Skylawn Memorial Park, Highway 92 at Skyline Blvd., San Mateo, 94402, at 1:15pm.

It is with fondness that we remember you Suzanne. The gentleness and love that you gave to your sweet daughter, Tina. Your pride and love for Charlie, Roy and your grandchildren was so touching. Your selflessness and strength of character were very inspiring. We were blessed to have known you. Rest in peace dear Suzanne. You will always be remembered.

My dearest sister, Suzanne; I will always remember and appreciate your kindness. It was your sponsorship in 1953 that allowed me to establish my life in the United States. Suzanne, you have always been my big sister that I looked up to as a child in Switzerland, and then in the USA. Suzanne, you also helped me with my move in 1970 to San Francisco. You have always been there for me throughout my life . Suzanne, I love you dearly. You will be deeply missed. My dearest sister, you will always be in my heart.

Thank you for the kind words and memories; My mother was both a Peray & born under the zodiac sign of Taurus, as such she was true to her lineage. Her devotion to family was unfaltering and steadfast. It's difficult to express a persons life with an epitaph of only a few words, yet it's fitting that Suzanne's be simple, honest, and elegant. My memory of my stay with you in your place with Charly and Tina will always follow me along my lifetime.
