Tom Oliver, 52, of Fremont, California passed away peacefully in his home on June 25. Tom was born on September 17, 1968, to Dick and Nancy Oliver in Hayward. Growing up in Union City, he graduated from James Logan High School in 1987. He completed an Associate’s Degree specializing in architectural drafting and later earned an AutoCAD certificate. He loved cats, cars, the Raiders, and his family. Tom was predeceased by his wife, Deborah. He is survived by his sons, Thomas and Matthew, his parents, Dick and Nancy, and his siblings, Richard, Robert, and Cathryn. Services will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Union City on Tuesday, July 6 at 10 AM. As an honor to Tom, the family suggests a donation to the Tri-City Animal Shelter (www.tricityanimalshelter.org/159/donate) in lieu of flowers.
