Obituary For Tru Van Nguyen
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather passed away on January 24, 2015. He was born in Vietnam on August 7, 1932. He brought his entire family to the United States of America in February 1983. After he immigrated to the States he went to school to learn English so he can be a productive citizen and find a job to support his family. He worked at the Post Office in Oakland and was a very dedicated and loyal employee. He worked very hard and with his determination he was able to provide for his family and created opportunities for his three loving daughters who are now professionals working at Trion Worlds, San Francisco St. Mary Hospital, and LinkedIn. He is a loving person, caring husband, perfect father, and wonderful grandfather. He is survived by his wife: Hanh Ngoc Trinh; three daughters: Ha Ngoc Nguyen (Cindy Nguyen) and her husband Tuan Manh Tran, Thanh Nguyen (Katrina Nguyen), and Tuyet Nguyen; two granddaughters: Trang Thuy Tran (Theresa Tran), and Nhi Thuy Tran (Emily Tran); and one grandson: Huy Duc Ly (Kaden Ly).
Chapel Service and Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30th, from 3:30-8pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31st, from 10am-12pm and a Chapel Service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Leave from funeral home at 1pm and arrive at cemetery at 2pm. Burial will be held at 3pm at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1100 El Camino Real, Colma, CA 94014.

My heart went out with all of you, the loved ones of uncle Tru Van Nguyen for the lost of your husband, father, and grandfather. Truly sorry to hear the loss of uncle Tru Nguyen. Please accept our condolences and may our prayers help comfort you and hasten the journey of his soul to Heaven. A person departs from this earth never trully leaves, so uncle Tru Nguyen is still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, he lives on, he will not be forgotten.
