Obituary For Victor Carlos Muñoz, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Victor Carlos Muñoz Jr.'s passing on May 24, 2025, at the age of 62.

Victor was born on October 30, 1962, in Fremont, CA. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Araminta Z. Muñoz; his sister, Diana Salas; Brother-in-law David Salas and his nephews and nieces—Guillermo Dominguez, Lolita Terrazas with husband Jorge Terrazas, and Marisa Salas—who he loved and treated like his own children.

Victor enjoyed laughing over meals, watching movies, and sharing quiet moments with family and friends. His warmth and strength were felt by everyone who knew him. Victor was a true car lover. He found joy in working on classic cars, patiently bringing old engines back to life. He attended many car shows and enjoyed meeting others who shared his passion. He also loved the outdoors, often riding his motorcycle or biking around Lake Elizabeth, where he felt at peace with nature.

Victor’s gentle spirit, kind heart, and quiet sense of humor touched many lives. We will miss him deeply, but we will cherish the memories he left behind.

A celebration of Victor’s life will be held at a later date.

Thank you for being there as a father figure throughout my life. I will always appreciate the way you stepped into the lives of me and my brothers; and later, into the lives of our children. You loved us like your own, and no matter what was happening, you always kept in touch. I'll miss the random meetups catching up, never needed a reason to meet. I will forever cherish the memories we shared, the endless laughter, and the advice you gave that helped shape who I am today. You were there for every important milestone, always ready to help in any way you could. Your presence meant so much. I'll never forget you. I love you deeply. Rest in peace, surrounded by love and light. I know you'll always be with us. Every time I hear How Far Is Heaven, I'll think of you. See you in my dreams, and I hope you're finally seeing all the places you once talked about. With all my love, always Star and Family
