Vimala R. Patel, a resident of San Jose, CA, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017.

Vimala Born in, 1924 in Gujarat, India, Vimala was the eldest of five children. In 1941 she married Ratilal Patel and raised eight children in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. At the age of 63 she moved to the U.S. and traveled around the country to stay with all her family and help raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought great joy to her later years.

Vimala had a wonderful smile and a 'live young' mentality. She was an active woman and loved cooking, exercising, socializing, reading, praying and knitting, even at the age of 93.
