We are sad to announce the passing of Wayne Barry Russell. Wayne passed away on March 26, 2022 at the age of 76 years old.

He was born and raised in San Francisco, CA where he attended George Washington High School. Following his graduation, he served in the United States Navy from 1966-1968. He lived primarily in Redwood City, CA for nearly 30 years, where he enjoyed active bicycle riding and attending Bay Area sporting events (A’s, Sharks, 49ers). Most recently, upon relocating to Fremont, he was an active member of the Christian Church community. Wayne is survived by his three sons, Wayne Russell Jr., John Russell, Joseph Russell, and granddaughter Alessia Russell.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, 1:00 PM at Fremont Chapel of The Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont where you can join close friends and family in sharing the love and memories Wayne left behind. His legacy left behind will be remembered as a man of love and generosity. It is during this time we invite all those that knew him to attend this special memorial.
