Obituary For Wayne Kenneth Mensinger
Born November 3, 1933 in Freeland, PA, and passed away on April 2, 2014 in Newark, CA at the age of 80 after a long bout with COPD. He worked for Sea Land Containers for over 25 years as a mechanic. He retired in 1994 when medical problems forced him to. Wrenching was his passion but airplanes were his first love. He started making model planes while serving in Korea during the war.
He survived his wife, Helen, who passed in 2007. He is survived by his children: Wayne Mensinger, Jr., Theresa Storer and her husband John, and Michelle Mensinger; sister: Beverly Kissenweather and her husband Russ; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
No services will be held.
