Obituaries

Entered into rest on July 15, 2012 in Cloverdale at the age of 77. Prededed in death by her husband William Bickard in 1988. Beloved mother of Bill Bickard, Tom Bickard, Terry Payan (Clark), and Kathleen Nahlin. Cherished grandmother of Brenna Marketello, Joseph Marketello, Cole Payan, and Jack Payan. Dear sister of Mary Becker, Edna Koek, Pat Keef, James Keef, Sam Keef, Paul Keef, and Bill Keef. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Also survived by her special friend, and caring and supportive companion Imre Toth.

Born March 9, 1935 in Arkansas, Wilma worked for many years with her husband at Cardoza and Bickard Insurance office in Fremont. She was a gourmet cook, a classic movie buff, and a lover of classical music. She volunteered with the Fremont Child Welfare League, and in the parish office at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Cloverdale.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 19, 5-7pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 20, 9am at the Old Mission San Jose Church, 43300 Mission Blvd., Fremont, CA 94539. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
